Smart on Securing Shark’s Account
..Now that’s something to sink your teeth into!
It’s been a wild six years for the Sandman Signature Hotel and Shark Club Gastro Pub group. In 2011 they made their UK debut after taking their homeland, Canada, by storm. After a successful start, they are now expanding across Britain in unprecedented ways.
Having taken over the premises of the former Scottish & Newcastle Brewing Company opposite St. James’ Park, the 170-bedroom hotel is in a prime location. Since this pioneering beginning, it’s become one of the city’s leading corporate venues boasting two conference rooms, high-speed internet access, an array of room types and the incredible Shark Club Sports Bar.
Having already expanded the hotel into London in this six year period, the focus has been set on expanding the Shark Club. In securing plans to expand the bar in to Newcastle, Gatwick and Aberdeen, the leading Canadian hospitality group chose to work with Smart Hospitality Supplies to recreate menu covers that continue their successful image and encompass the high-end Shark Club Brand.
Smart Hospitality were able to successfully recreate menu covers that the group initially sourced in Canada here in our UK factory. We used a beautiful, recycled leather and cut the covers to the bespoke size required, finished off with a simplistic, discreet embossing of their revamped logo.
The Shark Club Sports Bars interior designs are fastidiously thought out and are ultra-modern. The chic and slightly grained hydra leather material coupled with a minimalistic design give the menu covers a high-end and progressive appearance.
It seems that Sandman Signature and Shark Club Sports Bar are on track for continued expansion. Who knows what the future may hold for them -maybe you’ll be seeing them near you soon…
