Belgian beer is always a great choice when looking for a good new beer. This is no exception.
This refreshing beer has a sweet, lambic peach flavour which is a lovely twist to your standard beers. Made at the Brouwerij Timmeran’s brewery who have been brewing since 1702. The experience of the brewers that has been handed down is certainly evident when tasting this fine beer. Timmerans have taken on the challenge of creating a fruity beer with style.
Quilmes

From Buenos Aires in Argentina, Quilmes has a long history of being the most popular beer in the country. This beer is brewed using Patagonian hops, malt from The Pampas and water from the Andes – it is the closest you will come to actually tasting Argentina.
The lager is very refreshing and bubbly – perfectly adapted to cater for the array of weather conditions up and down Argentina. This beer has been brewed since 1890 and is finally finding its way on to the world stage as one of the premium lagers on the market.
Moosehead Lager

A Canadian lager from the Moosehead brewery, St John. There is a good reason they have made this lager the spearhead of their brand. The beer was first created in 1867 and since then has survived two brewery fires.
A crisp lager with a balanced blend of hops and Canadian barley malt coming through in the taste. Moosehead lager has made its way accross the breadth of Canada and is often referred to as Canada’s premium lager.
Beerlao

A relatively new beer compared to the previously mentioned on our list. Beerloa is a beer from Laos which originated in 1971.
The beer is a rice beer brewed in Loa Brewery, Vientiane and provides an interesting mix of Loatian beer and European beer using the finest ingredients from both regions. The outcome is a beer which is a well balanced between bitterness and sweetness with a tint of a lemon zest.
Viru

The youngest beer on our list – Viru finds its origins in Estonia in 2006. The bottle it is served in certainly expresses the moderness of the beer – the octagonal pyramid is certainly one to look out for!
Its ingredients are specially selected from the Baltic region and uses deep well water resulting in a clean and light feel. A hint of bread dough and a touch of lemon marmalade makes this a fantastic choice for trying on National Beer Day.
So if you are anywhere near a Bierkellar/ Around the World venue today then we could definitely recommend dropping in for a tipple or two!
Keep a look out for our Menu Covers too, from Soho Buckram, to Stitched Hide and Real Saddle, we’ve been working closely with the brand for years now, developing the perfect product range to showcase their marvelous beers.
